Morphological characteristics

The top of the forewing is gray-green, with a wavy mid-horizontal line and 3 rows of round spots, the black spots are larger than the front; the hind wings are gray-green, with metallic luster, no black spots, and white lines and eye-like patterns on the sub-margin, from the middle to the base. There are 3 white diagonal strips.

living habits

The green leopard butterfly eats the nectar of rubus, thistle, and cornflowers, as well as the honeydew of aphids. They have strong flying ability and are more active than other leopard nymphs, so they can often be seen gliding in the canopy of trees. They like to inhabit deciduous woodlands, especially beech trees in coniferous forests.

Breeding
