Appearance feature

The polyphonic white morpho butterfly is large and gorgeous, with a wingspan of 13 to 16 cm, and hermaphroditism. The male butterfly has a shiny metallic green-white luster. The antennae are slender, about a third of the length of the forewings. The abdomen is short, the underside of the wings is white, and there are rows of black eye spots, but the eyes are hairless. The reason why Morpho butterfly flashes is that butterfly wings are densely covered with scales containing a variety of pigment particles. The denser the fine color ridges on the scales, the stronger the flash. The scales of the Morpho butterfly are more complex in structure.
