Adult: Wingspan 40-50mm. Forewing of male butterfly is milky white; leading edge is dark brown; black spot on top corner is narrow and divided by veins: black spot in m3 room is underdeveloped or disappears: cu2 room has no black spot. There is a triangular black spot on the outside of the front edge of the hind wings. The top corner of the reverse side of the forewing is pale yellow, the cu2 chamber has obvious black spots, and the rest are the same as the front side. The underside of the hindwing is pale yellow, with an orange spot at the base angle, and the veining is dark brown, which is usually thicker than that of the black-striped white butterfly. The base of the female butterfly's wing is light black brown, the black spot and the stripe at the end of the trailing edge are enlarged, and the frontal veining is obvious, and the rest are the same as the male butterfly. The apical horn spot of the summer female butterfly is reduced, and the dark veins on the hind wings are thickened.

Male external genitalia with inconspicuous protrusions on the ventral margin of the dorsal pocket; wide and short, with broad and rounded ends; the ossification of the end base ring of the penis is weak, with a large protrusion. The claw-shaped process is long and narrow, the end is pointed and slightly curved into a small hook; the clavicular valve is "V"-shaped; the sac-shaped process is short and thick; the penis is long, and there is a large protrusion at the subbase.

The posterior epidermal process of female external genitalia is slender and the anterior epidermal process is short; the posterior vulva is finger-shaped, the anterior vulva is wider than the posterior vulva, and the edges and ends of both are densely covered with long bristles; the cystic duct is thin, not enough for the length of the cyst 1/2 of the size of the cyst; the cyst body is large, slightly oval; the cyst process is narrow and long, the surface is densely covered with small odontoid processes, but the middle part lacks the odontoid process to form an obvious longitudinal depression, the stalk of the cyst process is relatively short, and sometimes the base of the stalk is Hemi-ossification is weak
